1. Introduction

The Curated Collective (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an invite-only private network offering exclusive social experiences for professionals and expats in Warsaw. These Terms & Conditions govern membership, event participation, and community engagement. By joining or attending an event, you agree to comply with these terms.



2. Eligibility & Intellectual Property

Eligibility

  • Applicants must complete an application and screening process to ensure alignment with community values.

  • Members must be at least 25 years old.

  • We reserve the right to accept, decline, or revoke membership at our discretion. If an event registration is declined, applicable payments will be refunded.

Intellectual Property

  • All content on the website—including logos, images, text, and graphics—is the intellectual property of The Curated Collective.

  • Users may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works without explicit permission.



3. Events & Participation

  • Event registration and payment are required in advance.

  • Tickets are refundable only if the registration is declined by The Curated Collective.

  • If a member is unable to attend, they must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows may affect future access.

  • Dress code is smart-casual unless otherwise specified. Inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the event.

  • Event discussions, member details, and insights shared are strictly confidential. Members may not disclose personal or business information about others without consent.

  • By attending, members grant permission for event photos and videos to be used in marketing materials unless they explicitly opt out.



4. Community Guidelines

  • We foster a space of respect, discretion, and trust.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or unethical conduct is not tolerated.

  • The Curated Collective is about authentic relationships, not self-promotion. Direct solicitation of business is discouraged unless organically initiated.



5. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • By applying, you consent to the processing of your personal data in compliance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

  • Data collected (e.g., name, email, social profiles, background, preferences) is used for membership screening, event organization, communication, personalization, and legal compliance.

  • Data may be shared within the community (e.g., name, professional background) and with trusted technology partners (e.g., payment processors, communication tools).

  • We do not sell personal data to third parties.

  • Data is retained as long as needed for membership, events, or legal obligations. You may request data deletion.

  • Event participation is at your own risk; The Curated Collective is not liable for any accident, injury, or loss.

  • Members should arrange appropriate insurance for personal, health, and travel purposes.

  • Some events may involve third-party providers. While we strive to work with trusted partners, we cannot assume liability for their services.



8. Amendments & Updates

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions.

  • Members will be notified of significant changes via email or the website.



9. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by Polish law.

  • Any disputes will be resolved by the courts in Warsaw, Poland.
